Welcome to Rainbow Snippets!!
Yes, I’m back. ๐ I didn’t want to leave Europe, but you know? Money runs out. We had a great time, and look forward to going back at some point in the future. I hope everyone has been well and enjoying the wonderful excerpts from some really great authors!
Here is a picture of Kitzingen, Germany – lovely, yes?
More from “The Hippie Whisperer” below. Carl is at work, talking to a prospective student and has a tiny epiphany. ๐

I leaned back in my chair and looked at the man sitting in front of me.
He was my age and slightly overweight, with a bald spot and his remaining hair pulled back into a stringy ponytail. Henry Farthing wore a short-sleeved shirt with palm trees all over it, Dockers and sneakers.
But for the grace of God, there go I. Tell me this isnโt what I look like in public.
โWhy the sudden interest in going back to school?โ
โWell, my wife died, and while I loved being on the road, itโs not fun without her anymore. I thought it was time for a change. Youโre never too old to try something new, Iโve found.โ
Okay, universe, I hear you. Stop poking me.

Love this snippet. Humor and a point well made.
Thank you! ๐
That’s an interesting exchange.
Indeed! Food for thought…
Sometimes the universe keeps poking until you listen!
Agreed!
Haha ๐
Intriguing!
Food for thought (for Carl, anyway). ๐
